Chief Justice Myron T. Steele

Chief Justice Myron T. Steele is currently a partner at the Delaware law firm Potter Anderson & Corroon. He previously served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware and as a Vice Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery.  He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and Pepperdine Law School, and teaches the short course “Advising The Board Of Directors in a Mergers and Acquisitions World.” Chief Justice Steele earned his bachelor’s in foreign affairs, his J.D., and his LL.M. from the University of Virginia.

In 2014, the University of Delaware conferred an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree upon Chief Justice Steele. The NACD Directorship Magazine ranked Chief Justice Steele as one of the 100 most influential people in corporate governance in the United States.
